PROJECT LOCATION: Nashville, TN

The team behind Nashville’s Music City Center used special profile barrel joists and B Deck steel roof deck to create an architecturally arresting design. The flowing roof is designed to resemble the rolling hills of Nashville, while the grand entryway resembles the flowing shape of an acoustic guitar, a look made possible by special profile barrel joists. Six tons of special profile barrel joists support the building’s insulated B Deck roof deck. Construction of Music City Center came in $7.5 million under budget.
